Aidan McCartan is a whiskey specialist based in Miami, Florida. Originally from Ireland, he moved to Miami in January 2019. He has completed courses at the Edinburgh Whisky Academy (EWA) and the Council of Whiskey Masters.

He recently won a grant from a UK-based organization to pursue his dream of becoming a Whiskey Master, receiving a fully funded trip to Japan to visit distilleries and further his education.

Aidan has also appeared on the Miami Radio show “Food News and Views” to talk about whiskey.

When not in Florida, Aidan can be found exploring the world of whiskey and wine. Recent travels have taken him to Ireland, France, Spain, Japan, Argentina, Chile, and Napa – among others. He is happiest when sharing enthusiasm with fellow drinks lovers.
